GDS takes responsibility for making all of the different components of your network work - from your PC's and printers to your network cabling and internet connectivity.  One call to GDS will solve the problem, regardless of whether it's software, hardware, or data communications.

• Network Design and Planning

If you are opening a new branch or upgrading your existing network, GDS can help with cabling and equipment placement, network design, hardware and software selection and ordering, testing, installation, and total support.  For example, Coastal Waters FCU asked us to help with the design of their new office - we reviewed the architectural plans, recommended placement of cables and equipment, assisted with installation of internet access, acquisition of new hardware and migration of existing PC's and printers.  

• Network Management and Security

Once your network is installed, GDS makes sure it stays up and running.  We help develop back-up strategies to get you operational if a piece of equipment or your internet provider crashes.  We maintain anti-virus and firewall protection for your PC's.  In the event of a problem, we diagnose the cause and dispatch the appropriate repair personnel, including third-party vendors such as telcom providers or PC repair staff from DELL and IBM.
